MK Logic 1 Gang Blank Plate

The MK Logic 1 Gang Blank Plate (model number 3827) is a white plastic blank plate with square edges.

On the rear of the plate are eight small knockouts, two on each side to permit passthrough of a flex while the centre of the plate may also be removed to allow a cable to enter.

Two fixing screws are provided.

PowerBreaker 13 amp 2 Gang Metal Clad RCD Socket

The PowerBreaker 13 amp 2 Gang Metal Clad RCD Socket (model number H22MPAPN-C) is a 2 gang metal clad, unswitched socket with passive residual current device and neon.

With a rounded faceplate, the socket is grey with white inserts and can either be flush mounted or surface mounted if used with the included back box.

On the front of the socket is a test button allowing the RCD function to be checked, as well as an indicator which lights red when the socket is operational, and black when the socket is either off or has tripped.

The PowerBreaker logo is displayed in the top-left corner of the faceplate.

The terminals can accept up to 6 mm2 cable.

Knightsbridge Curved Edge Dual Voltage Shaver

The Knightsbridge Curved Edge Dual Voltage Shaver (model number CU8900N) is a dual voltage shaver socket providing for shavers rated at 230 volts and 115 volts. It is white plastic and features a raised, round profile.

The frontplate features ‘SHAVERS ONLY’ wording and the shaving socket icon as well as a neon which lights when the socket has a device plugged in.

Provided with the socket are white plastic screw covers and fixing screws in a small plastic wrapper.

The terminals on the rear of the socket are round and can accept 2 x 2.5mm², 1 x 4mm² or 1 x 6mm² cables. The live and neutral terminals are located on the rear of a black box containing the power supply, while the earth terminal is located near the top of the accessory which provides earthing to the faceplate screws and metalwork used to retain the transformer.

The minimum required back box depth is 47mm.

MK Albany Plus 13 amp Connection Unit

The MK Albany Plus 13 amp Connection Unit (model number K941) is a switched double-pole connection unit intended to provide protection and switching. The switch has round edges and features a red indicator visible when in the on position.

The fuse carrier is protected with a flat-head screw, and the accessory is provided with a 13 amp fuse.

On the rear of the accessory, the live, neutral, and earth terminals are split into load and supply. The earth terminals are connected together, unaffected by the switch, and provide earthing to the metalwork.

A number of finishes are available including brushed stainless steel (BSS), brushed chrome (BRC), matte chrome (MCO), polished chrome (PCR), and satin brass (SAB). The model number if affixed with the three-letter finish code.

Variants

A variant is available which provides for an appliance flex to be passed through the front of the faceplate, however this shares the same model number as the variant without passthrough.

MK Logic Plus TV/FM and Satellite Co-Axial BT Socket

The MK Logic Plus TV/FM and Satellite Co-Axial BT Socket (model number K3566DAB) is a combination plate which features connections for television, radio, satellite, and telephone in a two-gang layout.

On the left-side of the plate is a female FM/DAB coaxial BNC connector, a male television coaxial BNC connector, and two female F connectors labelled ‘2’ and ‘1’.

The right-side of the plate features an unlabelled second male BNC connector for television and finally a RJ11 telephone socket.

The rear of the plate has mounting points for the included screws. All the television, radio, and satellite connectors are screened with lidded covers over the terminals.

LAP 50 amp 1-Way Pull Cord

The LAP 50 amp 1-Way Pull Cord (model number H8187N) is a square, white plastic switch intended for isolating high-current appliances such as electric showers.

The switch includes a neon which operates when the switch is turned on as well as a rotating mechanical indicator which displays either ‘OFF’ or ‘ON’.

The screw terminals accept cable up to 16 mm², with both live and neutral connections being switched.

Hager Sollysta 2 Gang Socket with USB

The Hager Sollysta 2 Gang Socket with USB (model number *SS82-USBCC) is a double pole socket and features two USB-C ports with a current rating of 3 amps an output power of 27 watts which is shared.

The square terminals can accept 3 x 2.5 mm², 3 x 4 mm², and 2 x 6 mm² cables, with two earth terminals provided and joined by a connecting bar and providing earth to the metalwork.

The socket has a width of 146 mm and height of 86 mm, while the depth is 31.5 mm requiring a minimum back box depth of 25 mm.

Variants

A number of variants exist including a flat socket (WFSS82-USBCC) with a 10 mm spacer (model number WMUSBS) for use with a 25 mm back box, however when used without a 35 mm back box is required.

BG Nexus Slimline 45 amp Cooker Flex Outlet Plate

The BG Nexus Slimline 45 amp Cooker Flex Outlet Plate (model number 879-WSD) is used to connect a cooker flex into a cable with a maximum rating of 45 amps. The cable is designed to enter via the bottom of the frontplate.

Inside, the frontplate and cable support are in two parts with the frontplate unscrewing and lifting off the earthed metal bar which provides a fixing for the live and neutral terminals via a plastic retainer. The supply and load cable are both joined in the same terminal with the terminal screws being accessible from the top of the cable support.

The rear of the frontplate also features four screw caps while the package also provides fixing screws.

The live and neutral terminals can accept 4 x 4.0 mm², 3 x 6.0 mm², and 1 x 16.0 mm² cables, while the earth terminal can accept 3 x 4.0 mm², 3 x 6.0 mm², and 1 x 16.0 mm² cables.

The minimum required back box depth is 47mm.

Volex Casa 6 amp Triple Pole Fan Isolator

The Volex Triple Pole Fan Isolator (model number D1013NR) is part of the Casa range and has a maximum current rating of 6 amps. When switched, all three connected poles will be broken. The switch features ‘ON’ and ‘I’ on the top to indicate that it is in the energised position. The faceplate also has printing indicating it is an isolator and has the fan icon.

The rocker switch operates in the down position being energised, and the up position being de-energised.

The terminals are capable of accepting 4 x 1.0 mm², 3 x 1.5 mm², and 1 x 2.5 mm² cables.

Provided in the package are fixing screws and white plastic screw caps.

The width and height of the faceplate is 86mm and requires a back box that is at least 25mm deep.
